Rob’s preferred areas of practice include business, corporate and general commercial law. Topics of particular interest include business succession (exit planning for owners), business development and business venture planning. Called to the Alberta Bar in 1992, Rob built a busy solicitor’s practice in Alberta until 2002, and resumed legal work in BC in 2013, after accumulating business and entrepreneurial experience in Alberta, Quebec and BC. Friendly and professional, Rob works with clients to plan and prioritize to meet their objectives, putting legal issues into context, and managing processes efficiently. Rob is proficient with business plans, valuations, proposals and negotiations. Rob’s business and entrepreneurial experience is an invaluable asset to his clients. Rob has lived in Victoria with his wife and 2 daughters since 2005, and when not taxiing his kids around, enjoys volunteering behind the scenes with local theatre troupes and tinkering with his Triumph motorcycle.
